Joann (Jo) Pinto, SRM Portfolio Manager
Joann (Jo) Pinto joined The OutFit's team in 2019 as one of the Subject Matter Experts for the transition efforts for the Facilities Operations Branch (FOB) for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Jo started her career as a U.S. Army Medical Service Corps/Health Facility Planner. In 2001, Jo resigned her commission and continued her service as a government civilian working for the Air Force. During her time with Air Force, she worked in Civil Engineering; however, she eventually found her way back to Healthcare Facilities Management, where she spent over 18 years at one of the largest Medical Campuses in the Air Force. Jo is a multi-dimensional facilities operations executive leader and team builder with 25+ years of military healthcare facilities operations experience.
Jo is the Lead for the Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) programs and at the forefront of transitioning and merging the Service Medical Agencies (SMAs) into the Defense Health Agency (DHA) as she develops and executes the Work Induction Board and Facility Sustainment Board processes.
Jo is a native of Baroda, Michigan, and a graduate of Western Michigan University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Interior Design and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Jo enjoys spending time with her three children; she is an avid cyclist and an honorary member of the U.S. Air Force Cycling Team.
