DHA Program Management Office & Transition Management Office Facilities Engineering Support
The OutFit Team provides the Project Management Office (PMO) and Transition Management Office (TMO) with services to accommodate the transition from the Service Medical Activities to the Defense Health Agency-Facility Enterprise role assigned to DHA in 2017. Our team provides DHA-FE with a full range of staff to support Facility Life Cycle Management activities across the Military Health System. We do this by tracking and supporting the transition from Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) to DHA. Our support includes coordinating and attending meetings with MTFs, gathering data regarding the transition, reviewing current support agreements and developing new agreements related to facilities management. We are also responsible for updating property records with host installations, updating DMLSS data to reflect the DHA compliance requirements, and assisting DHA’s efforts to centralize all programs in the future.
The Outfit manages the coordination, synchronization, and execution of the transfer of 1,852 Medical Treatment Facilities and 3,349 assets from the Air Force, Navy, and Army to the Defense Health Agency totaling 73 million square feet. We are developing an analytic database, SharePoint, and workflow to prioritize demand signals to support the 600 million-dollar Sustainment Restoration and Modernization (SRM) annual budget and 1.5 billion-dollar backlog.
